A spring clean on a Hills floorplate is not a 3-hour wipe

Dural, Glenhaven, Kenthurst, and the larger Kellyville homes add raked ceilings, extra living rooms, ducted returns, and metres of glass onto the bush. A room-by-room deep clean is a big job, not a solo ‘once over’. Quote it as a deep clean using the acreage band in our Hills cost guide, not as a stretched fortnightly visit.

Kitchen, bathrooms, and living spaces while you still live there

Unlike a vacate, cupboards stay full. We clean faces, handles, splashbacks, appliance exteriors, and the oven if you put it on the list. Bathrooms get grout, glass, and exhaust covers, the same areas agents check at a bond clean, without emptying the linen cupboard.

Hills shower screens pick up the same mineral film we cover in the hard water stains and mould guide. If glass is the reason you are booking, say so. Heavy film takes longer than a regular wipe.

Raked ceilings, fans, and window tracks

Western and north-facing glass in Glenhaven and Dural collects pollen and grime. Sliding-door tracks at the alfresco build it up too. Ceiling fans get a grey ring on the blades that you only notice when a guest looks up. Tell us if you have a high void a household ladder cannot reach.

  • Tracks: Tracks are cleaned out and wiped. Wet mud left in the channel dries into a stain in hot weather.
  • Fans and blades: Supported, not yanked. Wobbly fans are noted rather than forced.
  • Internal glass: Sills, reveals, and reachable panes. Upper-storey exteriors may need a window specialist.

Alfresco tile, garage floors, and what we will not pretend to do

AlfrescoSweep, wash tile, cobwebs at the beam line, BBQ splash if it is built-in. We do not restore sandstone.
GarageFloors, door tracks, and obvious oil. Deep hydrocarbon stains may need a poultice you approve in advance.
Eaves & guttersReachable cobwebs and wasp mud. Gutter emptying and roof work are separate trades.
Solar and high glassWe will not walk your roof. Ask a licensed height specialist if solar panels or upper-storey exteriors are the goal.

How to book a deep clean that fits the house you actually have

Send storeys, bathroom count, whether the oven is included, pets, and a photo of the alfresco. If you are selling or handing back keys, use the end of lease checklist instead. Spring cleans assume furniture, school bags, and a fridge that stays. Vacate work is empty and inspection-led.

How long does an acreage or 5-bed spring clean take?
A Dural, Glenhaven, or Kenthurst home can be a long visit. Raked ceilings, extra bathrooms, and outdoor living add rooms a standard house clean does not cover. Send a floor plan or photos and we will quote the visit on those.
Do you clean high windows and ceiling fans?
High windows and ceiling fans can be in the visit when they are safely in reach. Cathedral glass or upper-storey exteriors may need a specialist. We will say so before the booking.
Should I combine this with a bond or moving clean?
If you are selling or handing back keys, book an end of lease clean instead of a spring clean. Spring cleans assume you still live there, with pantry faces, full wardrobes, and furniture in place. Vacate work is for an empty home and the final inspection.
